Business Unit Manager – Lisbonne (W/M)
Job Description
Our Lisbon office was established a year ago and is currently composed of a Business Manager and a Talent Acquisition Specialist. We are now looking for our Business Unit Manager to take on the following responsibilities:
1. Management :
You will be in charge of managing our business manager: weekly meetings, support, training, and annual review…
2. Business Development
- Prospect new clients and develop a commercial portfolio.
- Work closely with our Recruitment Officer to recruit consultants.
- Conduct cold calling and headhunting.
- Open new accounts and establish strong business relationships.
- Attend client meetings (significant field presence required).
- Gather and analyze client needs.
- Commercial negotiations (rates, start dates, contractual terms, etc.).
3. Consultant Recruitment
In close collaboration with the recruitment team, you will be responsible for hiring future consultants by:
- Assessing candidates’ technical and functional skills.
- Identifying suitable projects for them.
- Defining the best recruitment approach for each candidate.
- Organizing and participating in client interviews.
4. Consultant Management & Career Development
A key part of your role will be the proactive management of your consultants’ assignments, ensuring their success and satisfaction by:
- Conducting regular follow-ups (minimum one meeting per month).
- Organizing quarterly mission reviews with clients and consultants.
- Managing complex situations effectively.

Qualifications
- You have between 5 and 10 years of experience in business development, with experience in an IT consulting firm (ESN).
- Enthusiasm for the IT service sector and a desire to learn about current technological challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and establish positive relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated, dynamic, and eager to achieve results.
- Fluent in both french and portuguese or english and portuguese.
